Fall Fun & Festivities

It's that time of the year -- time to jump in piles of leaves, dress in costumes and carve faces into the pumpkins that we collect. This year, both girls have enjoyed the activities around Hallowe'en. The girls made masks, carved a jack o' lantern, and built a haunted house.

Elizabeth was especially intent on dressing up this year. The problem was, she couldn't make up her mind! First, she wanted to be a lion, then a witch, then a princess, then a bat, and finally back to the witch. Elizabeth tried on the monkey costume (below), but it was too small, so she gifted it to Helen. I didn't get any photographs on Hallowe'en itself, but I'm sure that the grandparents posted photos.
On the actual Hallowe'en night, Elizabeth and Helen went trick-or-treating to a few houses near their grandparents' house. Afterward, Elizabeth had fun handing out treats to the visitors to Hilton house.
