9 Months Old
Elizabeth went to the pediatrician today, and she is doing really well according to her doctor. My worries about her lack of mobility are diminished, as she does everything that a baby her age should do. She now weighs 19 pounds, is 26.5 inches long, and has a head circumference of 18.25 inches. That still leaves her below average in height and weight and in the 95th percentile for head size. Interesting...
Anyway, here she is, experimenting with her self-feeding skills (before she had a flu shot this afternoon).

New Things
Elizabeth has been trying "real" food this weekend, which has been bananas and Cheerios. I think she ate at least a couple of the Cheerios and may have licked her fingers after smashing the banana all over her high chair tray. At any rate, most of the food ended up not in the baby, but on her (you can see the cereal stuck in her hair if you look closely). A bath was in order.
Elizabeth took a bath in her new tub, which is this giant, inflatable duck. Rudy's comment to me when I brought it home was, "You just couldn't help yourself, could you?" I think it was a good buy...and so does Elizabeth, apparently.
