Pumpkins!

Elizabeth visited the pumpkin patch this weekend, and picked out a perfect, Elizabeth-size pumpkin. Although not really a toy, she does play with it quite a bit. We'll try decorating it as we get closer to Hallowe'en.

Sleepy Girl

Helen is now two months old. She's a happy girl, most of the time, except when she's hungry and when it's time to go to sleep at night. She hasn't repeated her rolling halfway over trick, so perhaps that was just a coincidence. She has her 2-month well baby visit this week, so I will report on her growth and progress later in the week.

Toothless Grins

We're at that stage with Helen where we get rewarded daily with big, toothless grins. Although still a handful, and not sleeping through the night, she is becoming more and more like a little person every day. In addition to her happy smiles, we do hear her cooing and occasionally, laughing!

She's a good eater, and growing quickly. I'm looking forward to her two-month visit to the pediatrician to check her height and weight. As of today, she is 8 weeks old and in very good condition.

Uh-oh!

Elizabeth shows off her new haircut - now trimmed to look more like a little girl and less like a baby. She's almost talking now, but makes sentences that sound like her own little language. Any day now, I'm sure she will be talking our ears off.
