Garden Helpers

Okay, so they aren't really helping, but they do occasionally pull weeds with me. Mostly, they play out imaginary stories and collect flowers and leaves to share with their animals.

In Calaveras County

We went to California Caverns, and the girls and I went on their hour-long guided tour. They did really well and it was a neat outing. Then we did some hiking, and playing at various playgrounds, and finally, a little shopping (we forgot E's bathing suit). Then, of course, we had to go to the pool, despite the fact that it wasn't very warm and there were big, dark clouds scattered about in the sky.

Preschool Graduation

Elizabeth's preschool classes are over for the school year, but she (and five from her class) will be returning next year. The Playschool program is a two-year preschool class, and this year, two students were graduated and will move on to kindergarten.

Helen joins in the Playschool class fun, at least after Tot Zone on Monday and Wednesday. She's become friends with some of these kids as much as Elizabeth has. Above: Helen, Shelby, Emily, Cullen, and Elizabeth. Below: Helen and Elizabeth sit with friend Cullen.
