Dillon Beach
We went to the beach today: to play in the surf, to explore the tide pools, and to fly a kite. These kids are all really good climbers, which was great, because we needed to climb over a pile of rocks to get to any sort of rocky beach area. The tide was rather high, but we were able to investigate barnacles, limpets, mussels, and snails. Those of us were more adventurous even saw a crab and sea anemone.
It was a long day, but totally worth it. Elizabeth claims that she was just pretending to be asleep, by the way.
